Lawrence County strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Blazer Tomcats, sneaking past 24-21. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since September 28, 2024.

A big part of Lawrence County's victory came down to the chemistry between Luke Fetherolf and his top target Kaden Johnson. Fetherolf gained 286 total yards while Johnson gained 159 total yards.

Despite the loss, Blazer still got an impressive performance from Cameron Davis, who rushed for 155 yards and one TD while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.

Lawrence County's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Blazer, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
