Baseball Recap: Gadsden City Gets the Win

On Thursday, the Gadsden City Titans beat the Clay-Chalkville Cougars 9-4.

Gadsden City's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Clay-Chalkville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Gadsden City will be playing in front of their home fans against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Clay-Chalkville, they will head out on the road to face off against Leeds at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Leeds is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
