Basketball Recap: Gaston Christian Piles Up the Points Against Hickory Grove Christian

While Gaston Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They breezed by the Hickory Grove Christian Lions to the tune of 55-13 on Tuesday. That 42 point margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

Gaston Christian was led to victory by Sophie Mueller and Happy Arune. Mueller went 7 of 9 on her way to 17 points and four steals, while Arune posted eight points along with seven boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Haux, who had nine points and three steals.
