Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Triumphs

Hillcrest was handed a 11-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Prosser Falcons.

The team relied heavily on Daquan Dennis, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

The victory got Hillcrest back to even at 1-1. As for Prosser, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Hillcrest wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-3 defeat against Thornwood on the 3rd. As for Prosser, they will host Intrinsic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
