Volleyball Recap: Mekeel Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Mekeel Christian Academy had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lansingburgh Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Mekeel Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bria Salvo, who had 13 assists. Salvo has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last 15 times she's played.

Mekeel Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 22-4-1. As for Lansingburgh, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Coincidentally, Mekeel Christian Academy and Lansingburgh will both be playing Fort Plain the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Hilltoppers on Saturday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 8:00 a.m.
