Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Loss Ends Van Buren County's Winning Streak

If Van Buren County was feeling good fresh off their 77-35 takedown of Sale Creek last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Van Buren County Eagles fell 56-47 to the Copper Basin Cougars on Wednesday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.
