Baseball Recap: Lake Washington Takes a Loss

Lake Washington fell victim to Issaquah and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Kangaroos were not able to get on the board.

Lake Washington got a good showing from Marcello Giusti, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Giusti has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

Lake Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Issaquah, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Washington will face off against Juanita at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Issaquah, they will challenge North Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Issaquah is facing North Creek at the right time seeing as North Creek is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
