Basketball Game Preview: Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers vs. Marion Wolves

The Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers will head out to take on the Marion Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Center Point-Urbana knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Marion likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, Center Point-Urbana didn't have too much trouble with Hudson as they won 64-50.

Meanwhile, Marion earned a 63-51 win over Solon on Friday.

Marion's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Center Point-Urbana, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Center Point-Urbana strolled past Marion when the teams last played back in January by a score of 59-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Center Point-Urbana since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
