Basketball Recap: Battery Creek Takes a Loss

Battery Creek's game on Friday was all tied up 15-15 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 44-33 to the Hampton County Hurricanes. The match marked the Dolphins' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Battery Creek saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Micheal Williams posted 16 points and six rebounds.

Battery Creek is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5. As for Hampton County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Battery Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-53 victory against Bethesda Academy on the 28th. Hampton County has also already played their next game, a 42-34 win against Bridges Prep on the 28th.
