Basketball Recap: St. John's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, St. John couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 50-27 to the Centralia Panthers on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Panthers are ranked first).

With the loss, St. John broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-5-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.8 points. As for Centralia, the win keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.
