Softball Recap: Blazer Falls Short Against Ranked Hurricane

Blazer is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Hurricane. The Tomcats fell 11-7 to the Redskins. The Tomcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Blazer's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Hurricane, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Coming up, Blazer will take on Boyd County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hurricane, they will challenge George Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Redskins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season.
