Volleyball Recap: Chula Vista Comes Up Short

Chula Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Christian Patriots. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Chula Vista's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Chula Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Monarch on the 21st. As for Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against San Diego on the 21st.
