Basketball Recap: Plantation Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Plantation won the last time they faced Hollywood Hills, and Jabari Washington did his part to make sure it happened again. The Plantation Colonels breezed by the Hollywood Hills Spartans to the tune of 90-12 on Monday thanks in part to Washington, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played.

Chris Exis was another key player, putting up 16 points and five steals. Those five steals gave him a new career-high.

Plantation's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-13. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.7 points per game. As for Hollywood Hills, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Plantation will challenge West Broward at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hollywood Hills, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 61-28 loss against McArthur on the 28th.
