Soccer Recap: Arlington Takes a Loss

Arlington lost against Lake Stevens back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Arlington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while Lake Stevens are ranked fourth).

Arlington's goal came courtesy of Brody Dalgaard, who's now up to five this season.

Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-2. As for Lake Stevens, they pushed their record up to 11-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Arlington will be playing in front of their home fans against Glacier Peak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Stevens, they will venture away from home to face off against Edmonds-Woodway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
