On Saturday Addison Willis struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. The performance marked the most strikeouts Willis has had over her last seven matches. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with more than six strikeouts. On the season, she has an ERA of 1.63 over 60 innings pitched.

Coming up, Willis and Calvary Baptist Academy will square off against Sterlington at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers are a perfect 6-0 against the Panthers going back to April of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
