Baseball Recap: South Newton Rebels vs. North Newton Spartans

South Newton had lost 11 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-21 to make it 12. They lost 11-3 to the North Newton Spartans. The Rebels were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Aidan Mattox was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and six unearned) runs off five hits.
