Baseball Recap: Merrimack Takes a Loss

Merrimack was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Windham Jaguars. The Tomahawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Shea Collins was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Merrimack's loss dropped their record down to 2-13-1. As for Windham, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Merrimack is set to face off against their familiar foe Nashua South at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Windham will challenge rival Salem at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
