Bergan Catholic lost to Yutan back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Knights blew past the Chieftains 35-7. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 28 points or more this season.

Bergan Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Trent Mlnarik, who rushed for 92 yards and three scores. Those 92 rushing yards gave Mlnarik a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cale Sheets, who picked up 74 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Bergan Catholic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Justin Werner and Jayden Stillman.

Despite the loss, Yutan still got an impressive performance from Otto Henkel, who rushed for 93 yards and one TD on only 12 carries.

The victory made it two in a row for Bergan Catholic and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 13 points in those games. As for Yutan, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Bergan Catholic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-7 victory against Aquinas on the 3rd. As for Yutan, they have also already played their next matchup, a 56-8 win against Tekamah-Herman on the 3rd.
