Nicholas County had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Estill County Engineers by a score of 83-71. For the Bluejackets, this counts as revenge for the 60-57 victory the Engineers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Nicholas County's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Estill County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.
