The Lawrence Central Bears put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by La Lumiere at home to the tune of 82-24. The result was nothing new for Lawrence Central, who have now won three contests by 25 points or more so far this season.
Among those leading the charge was Mariah Garrett, who scored 2 points along with 5 rebounds.
Lawrence Central pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.33 points. As for La Lumiere, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawrence Central's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Ben Davis at 1:30 p.m. on November 25th. Ben Davis is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. La Lumiere will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Calumet Christian at 5:45 p.m. on December 4th.
