While Woodlawn didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Corliss beat Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood 63-57 on Tuesday.

Woodlawn's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 21.8 points. As for Corliss, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
