Volleyball Recap: Mt. Carmel's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

Mt. Carmel lost against Norris City-Omaha-Enfield back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Golden Aces fell 2-0 to the Fighting Cardinals.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-8.

Maycee Randall paced Mt. Carmel's offense, picking up four kills. Randall got some help from Gabby Schneider and her four assists.

Mt. Carmel's loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-12. As for Norris City-Omaha-Enfield, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 27-1.

Coincidentally, Mt. Carmel and Norris City-Omaha-Enfield will both be playing Richland County the next time they take the court. The Fighting Cardinals will head out to face the Tigers at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Golden Aces will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
