Basketball Recap: All Saints' Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

All Saints' Academy's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 39-32 victory over the Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers . That's more bragging rights for the Saints, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Landon Gall was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine steals. Another player making a difference was Chris Matthews, who posted 13 points.

All Saints' Academy moved to 2-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

All Saints' Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-55 loss against Frostproof on the 14th. As for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-21 defeat against Lakeland Christian on the 10th.
