Basketball Recap: SEED of Miami Victorious

SEED of Miami's game back in November of 2024 was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-52 victory over the LaProgresiva Presbyterian Knights. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their 20-point performance the contest before.

Despite the loss, LaProgresiva Presbyterian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bryan Quezada posted 24 points and five rebounds. Those 24 points set a new season-high mark for Quezada. The team also got some help courtesy of Lazaro Echevarria, who had 14 points and five boards.

The win got SEED of Miami back to even at 1-1. As for LaProgresiva Presbyterian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Miami Union Academy the next time they take the court. LaProgresiva Presbyterian will host Miami Union Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 28th, while SEED of Miami will host them at 4:00 p.m. on January 29th.
