Baseball Game Preview: Northview Wildcats vs. Anthony Wayne Generals

For the second straight game, Northview will face off against Anthony Wayne. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Generals at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Northview and Anthony Wayne had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Generals 5-3. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Generals on their field since June 2, 2022.

Landon Huffman looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Quinton Wilson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Karson Schlosser, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Anthony Wayne's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7. As for Northview, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
