Baseball Recap: Gray Stone Day Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Gray Stone Day can now relate to. They lost 11-1 to the Draughn Wildcats on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly ten runs.

Gray Stone Day saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Decuir, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Gray Stone Day has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Draughn, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8.

Gray Stone Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Draughn, they have already played their next game, a 5-1 win against Highland Tech on the 9th.
