Baseball Game Preview: White Knoll Timberwolves vs. Dutch Fork Silver Foxes

White Knoll hasn't had much luck against Dutch Fork recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. White Knoll will challenge Dutch Fork at 6:30 p.m.

White Knoll is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Cardinal Newman.

Braydon Hoffman was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Those three hits allowed gave him a new career-low.

On the hitting side, Landen Farmer was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run. Dillon Woods was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Dutch Fork's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Chapin on Thursday. Dutch Fork had just enough and edged out Chapin 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Silver Foxes have posted against the Eagles since April 1, 2022.

Boone Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks.

White Knoll's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Dutch Fork, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
