Basketball Recap: Robstown's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Robstown had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Grulla Gators as they made off with a 47-21 win. The match marked the Cottonpickers' most dominant victory of the season.

The win (which was Robstown's fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-12. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points over those games. As for Grulla, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

Robstown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 51-45 victory against Columbia on the 14th. Grulla does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
