Recap: Cedar Grove Saints vs. Lithonia Bulldogs
The Cedar Grove Saints won the last time they faced the Lithonia Bulldogs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Cedar Grove walked away with a 43-32 victory over Lithonia.
Cedar Grove found their leader in underclassman Emmanuel Green, who scored 20 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Green has scored at least 25% of Cedar Grove's points. Another player making a difference was Dontavius Stringfield, who scored 8 points.
Cedar Grove's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Lithonia, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Cedar Grove will face off against McDonough at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in McDonough's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Lithonia is on the road again on Friday and play against Carver at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st.
