Softball Recap: Florence Takes a Loss

Florence's last matchup with Wilson could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Saturday. The Falcons came up short against the Warriors, falling 22-8. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost nine in a row.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 8-22. As for Wilson, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-14.

Looking ahead, Florence will venture away from home to face off against James Clemens at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jets have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Wilson, they will host Daniel Boone at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
