Volleyball Game Preview: Orlando Science Orcas vs. Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks

The Orlando Science Orcas are taking a road trip to challenge the Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Orlando Science came up short against Trinity Prep on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Orlando Science was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Trinity Prep's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-10.

Cornerstone Charter Academy hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost four straight) but thanks in part to Liam Dinsmore that streak is no more. Cornerstone Charter Academy walked away with a 3-1 victory over Pinecrest Lakes Prep on Thursday for which the team can thank Dinsmore, who had ten digs and two aces. Those two aces gave him a new career-high.

In the three sets Cornerstone Charter Academy was on fire: they won each by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-9, 24-26, 25-3.

Cornerstone Charter Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Orlando Science, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
