Basketball Recap: Carlynton Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Carlynton Cougars came up short against the Ambridge Bridgers and fell 74-64.

Carlynton has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Ambridge, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.

Carlynton will head out to take on Hopewell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carlynton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Hopewell likes a good challenge. As for Ambridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Quaker Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
