Conifer had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 67-56 victory over the Clear Creek Golddiggers on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Lobos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conifer will head out to face off against Platte Canyon at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clear Creek, they will venture away from home to challenge Jefferson at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
