Softball Recap: Kirtland Hornets vs. Edgewood Warriors

Kirtland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They fell 9-5 to the Edgewood Warriors.

Gianna DiFranco was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Addison Fleming was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

On Edgewood's side, they let Makenna Rhodes and Faith Vencill loose on the outfield. Rhodes scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Vencill scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
