Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Eagle Rock, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on Marshall with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Barristers: they've now won nine in a row.

Eagle Rock's got stronger as the match went on, holding Marshall to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 25-17.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Eagle Rock, they pushed their record up to 19-14 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
