Basketball Game Preview: White County Warriors vs. Chestatee War Eagles

The White County Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Chestatee War Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. White County has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 13.

On Friday, White County was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 63-62 to North Hall. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 424th, while the Trojans are ranked 172nd).

Meanwhile, Chestatee played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 95-31 loss at the hands of Pickens. The War Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 64-21.

White County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Chestatee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

White County was able to grind out a solid win over Chestatee when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 61-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for White County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
