Basketball Recap: Whiteoak Comes Up Short

Whiteoak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Fayetteville-Perry Rockets, falling 76-48. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 66-53 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Whiteoak's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Fayetteville-Perry, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Whiteoak will be home for the holidays to greet North Adams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they will head out on the road to challenge Miami Valley Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Miami Valley Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 233 points over their last three matches.
