Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Notre Dame lost against Belleville East back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Lancers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11.

Drue Duby paced Notre Dame's offense, picking up four kills. Duby got some help from Joseph Dodson and his eight assists.

Notre Dame dropped their record down to 10-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Belleville East, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Notre Dame will challenge Bayless at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Belleville East, they will square off against Joliet West at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
