Baseball Recap: Twin Lakes Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Twin Lakes won the last time they faced Rensselaer Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians blew past the Bombers 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Twin Lakes got a massive performance out of Mason Brummett, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those four runs gave Brummett a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cooper Dold, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Twin Lakes kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 11.6.

Twin Lakes has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Rensselaer Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
