Football Game Preview: Madison Marlins vs. Sterling Raiders + Official Tickets

The Madison Marlins will venture away from home to face off against the Sterling Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Sterling will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Madison extended their winning streak to three two weeks ago. The Marlins breezed past Austin to the tune of 47-0. That looming 47-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Marlins yet this season.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Madison's defense and their six sacks. Julian McCullough was especially locked on to Austin's QB and sacked him twice.

Meanwhile, Sterling made easy work of Austin on Saturday and carried off a 30-6 victory. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won six in a row.

Madison's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Sterling, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Madison lost to Sterling on the road by a decisive 35-21 margin in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Marlins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
