Soccer Recap: Lawrenceburg Comes Up Short

After flying high against Rushville last Saturday, Lawrenceburg came back down to earth. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Central Trojans on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lawrenceburg of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Lawrenceburg's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-3-1. As for East Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1-1.

Lawrenceburg wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Taylor on the 13th. As for East Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against North Central on the 13th.
