Adamson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sunset Bison. One positive for the Leopards, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Jorge Castillo had an outrageously good game for Sunset as he went 9 for 15 en route to 24 points along with eight boards and six steals. Those eight rebounds gave Castillo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Watson, who posted 13 points and seven boards.

Adamson's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Sunset, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-15.

Adamson has already played their next match, a 103-39 defeat against Hillcrest on the 17th. As for Sunset, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 49-44 loss against Jefferson on the 17th.
