Football Recap: Perquimans Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Perquimans's last matchup with Northside - Pinetown could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. The Pirates took a blow against the Panthers, falling 34-6. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Sincere Columbus continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Northside - Pinetown, rushing for 130 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Another rusher making a difference was Jamari Whitney, who rushed for 65 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Perquimans' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Northside - Pinetown, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Perquimans is taking a road trip to challenge Southside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will be up against the Seahawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
