Football Recap: Hampton Prep Comes Up Short on the Road Against Pantego Christian

Hampton Prep kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 49-0 defeat at the hands of the Pantego Christian Panthers.

Pantego Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anthony Jackson, who rushed for 42 yards and three scores.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hampton Prep will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Covenant Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pantego Christian, they will host DasCHE at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
