Basketball Recap: Mount Horeb Takes a Loss

Mount Horeb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Edgewood Crusaders, falling 67-42. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Crusaders are ranked seventh).

Mount Horeb's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Edgewood, the win (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Mount Horeb will challenge McFarland at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edgewood, they will face off against Reedsburg at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Reedsburg: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Edgewood has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road.
