Softball Recap: Perry Hall Sets Scoring Season-High Against Eastern Tech

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Perry Hall ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against the Eastern Tech Mavericks by a score of 14-10. The Gators' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Madison Carl, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Shalimar Lopez, who went 2-for-6 with two runs and two RBI.

Perry Hall kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 7-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

The victory got Perry Hall back to even at 8-8. As for Eastern Tech, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Perry Hall is taking a road trip to challenge Carver A&T at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastern Tech, they will challenge Towson on Monday.
