North Hall is 8-2 against Dawson County since August of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The North Hall Trojans will square off against the Dawson County Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, North Hall narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Lumpkin County 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dawson County). Everything went their way against Greater Atlanta Christian on Saturday as Dawson County made off with a 17-2 win. With that victory, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Kylee Pulley looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits.

At the plate, Sadie Dotson was a standout: she scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Ace Cochran, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Dawson County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .676. The last time their OBP was this high was back in October of 2023.

North Hall pushed their record up to 6-5 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Dawson County, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

North Hall was able to grind out a solid victory over Dawson County when the teams last played back in August of 2023, winning 10-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Hall since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
