Recap: Cerritos Dons vs. Wasco Tigers
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Cerritos Dons, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They and the Tigers were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but they suffered an agonizing 7-6 loss. Cerritos' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
When it comes to explaining why Cerritos lost, one person who can't be blamed is Josh Park. Despite the final result, he rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown.
Cerritos' defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Wasco, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Cerritos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wasco is on the road again on Friday and play against St. Vincent de Paul at 4:00 p.m. on December 8th. St. Vincent de Paul's defense has only allowed 17.3 points per game this season, so Wasco's offense will have their work cut out for Wasco.
