Baseball Recap: Ringling Gets the Win

Ringling took a eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Waurika, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Blue Devils narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Eagles 6-5. That's two games straight that the Blue Devils have won by just one run.

The win made it two in a row for Ringling and bumps their season record up to 8-10. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Waurika, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Ringling has already played their next matchup, an 11-3 defeat against Lexington on the 12th. As for Waurika, they will square off against Bray-Doyle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
