Football Recap: Huntland Takes a Loss

Huntland lost against Forrest back in August of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The matchup between the Hornets and the Rockets didn't end well, with the Hornets falling 38-20.

Despite the loss, Huntland still got an impressive performance from Grant Jernigan, who rushed for 67 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 158 yards and one TD on only 11 passes.

Huntland's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Forrest, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Huntland has already played their next contest, a 46-7 win against Community on the 5th. As for Forrest, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 24-21 victory against Mt. Pleasant on the 6th.
